EECF is working with the council on identifying need and community groups. Spacehive - Coronavirus: Let’s pull together Campaign - Spacehive is engaging with national funders to support community projects. The fund is aimed at local projects around the Coronavirus outbreak, they're relaxing the criteria so you can fundraise for running costs. All projects under this campaign will have the Spacehive fee waived. Regional Funding OpportunitiesIn order to support the sector and reduce the fund applications time The London Community Response Fund portal will allocate all emergency funds coming or managed by the London Community Foundation, and future funds coming from the London Funders members. This means if you apply through the portal your application may be assessed by many funders. The funds currently open are: London Community Response - Second wave – Wave 2 has two funding programmes that are taking applications: ·Crisis response: grants up to £10,000 to enable you to meet the immediate needs of communities, from food and essentials, to equipment and additional short-term staff costs. ·Delivering differently: grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 to enable you to change the way you deliver your work to ensure it continues to meet the needs of your communities, from switching to digital channels to redeploying staff to boost your capacity at a time of increased demand. National Funding Opportunities Mental Health Response Fund - Deadline: ongoing – Grants of £20,00 or £50,000 for projects lasting up to twelve months – The fund aims to support organisations having an increased demand for mental health services across the UK due the Covid-19 pandemic.
The National Survivor User Network (NSUN) will be administering funds to support user-led organisations and smaller, unconstituted community organisations, who might not otherwise be eligible for a grant. Grants of up to £1000 will be available to support community action, peer support, mutual aid and other activities that will make a direct difference to the lives of people living with mental ill-health, trauma and distress during this Covid-19 period. Full info Hope for the young – deadline: ongoing – Grants of up to £250 for a maximum of 12 weeks – The Emergency Relief Fund focuses on the relief of social isolation and financial hardship support for young asylum seekers and refugees up to 30 years old assessed as vulnerable, Youth Endowment Fund – Deadline: 3rd of June – Grants of up to £25,000 - £6.5m fund for organisation supporting children aged 10 to 14 in England and Wales at risk of youth violence following activities Digital/virtual delivery of programmes and Face to face activities that can be delivered adhering to social distancing/stay at home guidelines. The Prince’s Trust and NatWest Enterprise Relief Fund – deadline: ongoing – The £5million Enterprise Relief Fund will offer grants to 18 to 30-year olds across the UK who are self-employed and/or running their own business. In conjunction with cash grants, the initiative will offer one-to-one support and guidance to anyone who needs it and who may be worried about their future. Standard Life foundation: Coronavirus Fast Track Scheme - No deadline – Grants from £5,000 - The funding scheme is available to organisations working responding to the pandemic by tackling financial problems and improving life standards of those on low to medium income, the fund focusses on three areas : income, spending and assets. Power to Change C-19 emergency income support scheme - Grants of up to £25,000- £12 million fund to support community business facing a loss of trading income between April and June due the Covid-19 pandemic. Morrisson’s Foundation – Deadline: ongoing – Grants of up to £25,000 for projects which make a positive difference in local communities. Charities applying to the Covid-19 Homeless support can apply for up to £10,000. Greggs Foundation: Coronavirus Emergency Fund – Emergency funding for charities, community groups and schools supporting the most vulnerable people in their communities. The fund will cover urgent funding for emergency food parcels, hardship payments. British Muslim Covid-19 Fund – Grants of up to £5,000 - Fund focussed on helping faith charities and community groups affected by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic Alec Dickson Trust – deadline: 15th May- Grants of up to £1,000 – The trust support organisations, individuals and groups of young people under 30 years old, who are able to demonstrate that through volunteering or community service they can enhance the lives of others, particularly those most marginalised by society during the Covid-19 pandemic. Food For Life: Small Grants- Grants of up to £1,000 - Food for Life Get Togethers bring people of all ages and from different backgrounds together through growing, cooking and connecting with good food. Focusing in specific areas across the UK. Funding initiatives in food poverty, remotely connect people through good food cooking, equip costs, transport costs, reducing loneliness through food-based activities. Other funding sources available Help the homeless Fund - Deadline 15th June Grants of up to £5,000 – Fund for charities with an annual turnover under £1,000,000 for running capital projects that support individuals to return to mainstream society. The David Ross Foundation – Deadline: ongoing – Grants for charities offering to children and young people educational opportunities to develop their talents including Education, sports, arts and heritage. The Mrs Smith and Mount Trust – Three funding round a year, next deadline 15th May – Grants of up to £20,000 – Fund for charities across the UK and London with projects towards disadvantaged people covering Mental Health, Homelessness, Learning disability and Health in the community. Cosaraf: Hardship grants – Grants between £500 and £2,000 – Grants for charities, housing associations, schools and social services on behalf of individuals and families in need.
