City Hall, in partnership with London Plus, is offering Consultation Access Grants of up to £500 for organisations that need support to facilitate a community conversation. The grant will fund equipment, translation and interpretation costs, volunteer costs, specialist support services to help disabled Londoners access conversations and contributions to staff or freelancer costs where they are not already funded. The Tower Hamlets Council Small Grants Fund is designed to support voluntary and community sector activity across Tower Hamlets that will make a positive difference to the lives of local residents. The fund consist in seven themes Innovation, Prevention, Neighbourhood Action, Community Cohesion, Partnership, Access and Participation and Loneliness. The fund will provide a single payment award of £500 to organisations who are supporting vulnerable groups, as part of their emergency response in supporting local communities. Lloyds Bank - COVID Recovery Fund Grants of £50.000 over two years alongside a Development Partner for one year. Deadline: Friday 11th September 7.4 million fund aimed at charities to recover beyond the immediate crisis. The Fund will award 150 charities nationwide, for Tower Hamlets the priorities are: Racial Equity, Asylum seekers and refugees, Care leavers, Homeless and vulnerable housed, Trafficking and modern slavery, young parents and Addiction and dependency. If your organisation is based in the Isle of Dogs and South Poplar area, or your provision will be supporting residents in this area, then you may submit applications in response to any issues identified within the community, provided there is a clear evidence of need. EECF will also accept applications for emerging needs within the local area. EECF Small Grants Programme Grants of £800 Deadline: 12 noon on Monday 28th SeptemberThrough its Small Grants programme, East End Community Foundation funds one-off items of expenditure or events. Grants are available to support small voluntary and community organisations based in Tower Hamlets. The King's Fund - 2021 GSK IMPACT Awards Grants between £3,000 to £40,000 plus free training and development valued at a further £9,500 Deadline: Monday 14th SeptemberThe fund will provide core funding and free training for charities that are working to improve people’s health in the UK. Allen & Overy Ben Ogden Memorial Fund Grants of up to £2,500 are available Deadline: 12 noon on Monday 7th December 2020East End Community Foundation is distributing grants of up to £2,500 on behalf of the Allen & Overy Ben Ogden Memorial Fund to improve access to and opportunities in education, employment and training for residents in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets. Whether it be by enhancing high streets, neighbourhoods, or parks; or supporting vulnerable people and bringing communities together, if you have an idea that will make your local area better you can pitch to Our Tower Hamlets fund. GLL and Veolia are also offering support with a £150,000 for your project. The portal offers a free search engine for grants for individuals based on your age, postcode, gender and circumstances. The Phoenix Fund Grants of up to £20,000 Deadlines: 21st August, 2nd September, 16th September, and 30th SeptemberThe fund of £1 million aims to put racial justice at the heart of the pandemic response. The fund will support Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) groups working in the heart of the community, providing essential and emergency services, support, and education tailored to the BAME community. The fund is aimed at BAME-led infrastructure organisations to access the National Emergencies Trust (NET) funds. The grants can be used to cover up to 20% of core costs and including but not limited to: Awareness-raising via marketing and communications, Mentoring/supporting of groups through the local Community Foundation application process, Support with monitoring and reporting, Provision of micro grants to enable applications for NET funding through community foundations, Building relationships to help community foundations identify and address barriers to funding BAME-led organisations and communities. The Christmas Challenge is a match funding campaign where donations to participating charities are doubled. The match funds come from two sources - charities secure some of these (Pledges) over the summer. These funds are then boosted by funds from a Big Give Champion who contributes to the match fund. This collective pot is used to double donations from online supporters when the campaign is live. The Fat Beehive Foundation provides small grants for websites and digital products to other small UK registered charities. TFB aim is to help organisations to carry out their work in a more efficient and effective way, resulting in positive social benefit.
