As the week draws to a close, we have a few extra bits of information to pass on to you. Tower Hamlets Homes have an Employability Programme ope to tender, a few funding opportunities to pass your way and THCVS is recruiting a Partnerships Officer for our BAME Disparities Project.


Tower Hamlets Homes Employability Tender - Bids end date - 16th December 2020

This contract will provide dedicated employment support for Tower Hamlets Homes residents (THH) of which they manage just over 22,000 properties on behalf of Tower Hamlets Council. You can read more about the tender and how to access the tender documents here

Funding Opportunities

London Community Response Fund Wave 4 – Deadline 3rd December

Up to £10k for up to six months activity is offered to support organisations navigating crisis, with women-led, BME and VAWG groups included activity and groups considered. Applications are considered on a first come, first served basis, so act fast.

MOPAC WAVG Grassroots Fund – Deadline 11 January 2021

Up to 100K over two years is available to support the resilience or organisations focused on ending violence against women and girls, for capacity building, peer support and networking events.

London Community Foundation - MOPAC Victims Fund – Deadline 11 January 2021

Grants are available for voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations who are providing support to victims of crime throughout London. The fund aims to build capacity of organisations to ensure the provision of vital services to support victims. Grants between £20K and £50K available for individual organisations, and grants up to £80K for partnerships of two or more organisations.

THCVS is recruiting a Partnerships Officer - BAME Disparities Project

  • Fixed Term, one year contract, 35 hours per week 
  • Salary: £32,000 to £34,000 depending on experience
  • 8% pension contribution (6% employer and 2% employee contribution)
