The Mayors Community Grants Programme recommended awards have been announced and can be found here. The total amount of grant funding is £3.5m but £11.3m worth of applications were submitted so we know there will be many organisations who either have not been successful or will be receiving less funding than they applied for. If your organisation has not been successful and you require support or training to help you look at how to move forwards please visit our website. We are also providing online funding searches which can be accessed through filling in our online form here. From our State of the Sector survey that we are about to launch it is clear that organisational capacity is one of the most crucial factors in successful fundraising. This is reflected in the fact that 59% of successful applications to the Mayors Community Grants Programme came from organisations deemed as ‘large’ with an annual turnover of over £250k.
